Plant Loading And Securing Course This is my second visit to Robert's well established Plant Training Facility. The commute there is through some outstanding beautiful Welsh scenery to be warmly welcomed with some banter and a hot brew. My theory test was in a quiet well organised classroom with the need to concentrate paramount.
Once eventually passing the theory exam a Low Loader was waiting outside with a large 360 degree excavator all dog chained down ready for me to unchain, then acting as a banksman l gave the appropriate hand signals to the operator to track the machine off the trailer and to then complete the operation in reverse. I was overjoyed to have passed the course. As a bonus for me Rob was tinkering away with an old Steam Engine in his yard which had lovingly been restored and it was a pleasure to see it up and running Toot Toot! One tip for anyone on exam day ARTFQ! Best wishes Jason 🙏
